We are a group of fifteen schools, comprising 4 Infant, 4 Junior, 4 Primary and 2 Secondary Schools together with a Special School, who have chosen to work collaboratively to establish a supportive network of school leaders offering an excellent education to all the chlidren of Billericay, Downham and Stock.

Our aims are :

1. To raise standards across all schools in English, Maths , Science and ICT.
2. To develop distributed leadership through offering opportunities for middle and senior managers to lead groups from all schools.
3. To engage staff in a community wide development and to work alongside each other sharing expertise for the community of Billericay.
4. To develop opportunities for gifted and talented students across the BEC schools in a wide range of subjects.
